Richard R. Vouga, Esquire

Attorney At Law

Rick Vouga grew up in Frontenac, Missouri and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in 1972 and his Juris Doctor Degree in 1975 from Washington University.

He has been in private practice for over 40 years and is a lifelong resident of St. Louis County with a current practice of Asset Protection, Veterans Benefits, Special Needs Trusts, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Administration, and Supplemental Security Income.

He resides in Ellisville, Missouri, with his wife Dana, of 37 years, where they have raised their four daughters.

Dana Vouga, CSA

Elder Law Paralegal and Certified Senior Advisor

Dana is a lifelong resident of St. Louis County, growing up in St. Ann and attending Meramec Community College.  Dana worked at two different law firms before they began their family.  After their daughter with special needs was born, Dana became involved with the Williams Syndrome Association, and became the President of the National Board of Directors.  After also serving as Executive Director for LETS (Lets End Teenage Suicide) and raising their daughters, she returned to being a paralegal.

Dana retired in early 2020 and is enjoying spending more time with her family!

Rick and Dana have personal experience that has driven a true passion for helping seniors and those with special needs achieve their estate planning goals and creating safeguards against the most common financial dangers that come with aging.

In addition, to Rick and Dana each of the following members of our staff have personally been down the road of trying to help a loved one who’s in crisis, and understand where you are. That’s why we know we can come alongside our aging clients, and their caregivers, and help you find the best possible outcomes for your situation.

Kymberli Zeitler

Documentation Specialist

Kymberli Zeitler joined Vouga Elder Law & Estate Planning in August of 2017.  Kym’s role involves preparation of Estate Planning documents and assistance with MO HealthNet Benefits applications.

Prior to joining Vouga Elder Law & Estate Planning, Kym worked as a paralegal at another estate planning and elder law firm.  She has over 6 years of experience in the Estate Planning and Elder Law field.  Kym received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Legal Studies from Maryville University in May of 2012.

Kym is married to her husband, Louis, and resides in Affton, Missouri.  Kym is a huge animal lover!  She and her husband have four fur babies at home – two dogs and two cates – all are rescue animals.  Kym also loves to go camping, spending time outdoors, and playing with all of her crazy animals at home.

Lori Allen

Office Manager & Legal Assistant

Lori Allen is the Office Manager and Rick’s legal assistant.  Her role at Vouga Elder Law & Estate Planning includes Human Resources and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, as well as overseeing the day to day operations of the firm.  Her duties also include training and managing the team of Vouga Elder Law & Estate Planning.

Lori has been a legal assistant in both Illinois and Missouri since 1990 and had worked previously for Rick from 1993 – 1996.  After taking some time off to raise a family, Lori joined Vouga Elder Law & Estate Planning in 2007.

Lori was born and raised in Illinois, but currently resides in West County with her husband, their two sons, and their dog, Sammy. She enjoys gardening, decorating, traveling and spending time with her family.
